The merge will mostly be to add soundscapes and decos, we'll be working together on a few ideas beyond that though. Id recommend using some other faction packs as well since that adds more enemies to the pool of enemies Unlike conquerors the settlement doesnt have to be empty, and you dont conquer settlements, when you lead an attack an enemy faction will take the settlers captive and you fight to release them. You dont have to do any quests in order to unlock the minutemen, you just build the war planners desk and it will prompt you to claim it for the minutemen.

Yup, as posted above, theres a good bit explaining liberators and conquerors on the wiki and KG has a few amazing youtube videos out there on it. That said, the built in Raider faction is well done and is meant to teach Conqueror systems to the player worth a look.
